Little Saigon (intheloin, or is that lion?)

I was on the 19 last night, and noticed the new pillars marking the entrance to The Tenderloin’s Little Saigon District. So I walked over this morning to see them in the daylight. They are really incredible, and a great addition to the neighborhood. Local news coverage, below.

Just about everyone knows of San Francisco’s Chinatown. Now, another ethnic group in the city is hoping to distinguish it’s community. The [Tenderloin] neighborhood now has the same name as a controversial business district in San Jose, but it’s a very different story in San Francisco.
