Yesterday the Board of Supervisors voted to override Mayor Newsom’s veto of the BOS de-appropriation of the Community Justice Center’s funding.
De-Appropriating $998,145 of General Fund and $761,021 of Federal Direct Grant Revenue for the Community Justice Center for FY 2008-2009
The Mayor’s veto was sustained. Supervisors Mar, Mirkarimi, Daly, Campos, Maxwell, and Avalos voted to override the veto.
