The work at 50 UN Plaza continues. I live within earshot of the site, and have been surprised by the level of activity. Work crews have built exterior enclosures to house equipment and containers for demolition waste.
Today, I noticed that ceiling lighting had already been removed from the interior of the building. This is really moving along quickly, I had assumed that this would languish for months, like many projects that we see here in The City — a VERY pleasant surprise.
